Dear Christ Church Family,

Over the next few weeks, we will begin yet another transition as Joye+ will conclude her time with us and we will have several weeks until Dave+ and his family arrives. Joye+ has done a fantastic job for us and I know that you will want to join me in thanking her for all of her hard work and leadership over the past two years. Please join us at the reception after the 10:00 a.m. service on May 18th so we can properly thank her for all she has done for Christ Church. This will be her last Sunday with us so I know that you will not want to miss it.

Looking ahead, we are blessed to have the Rev. Galen Mirate join us for the majority of the transition time, and the Rev. Jim Bullion also serving one Sunday. The schedule looks like this:

May 18th: Youth Sunday and the reception for the Rev. Joye Cantrell
May 25th: The Rev. Galen Mirate
June 1st: The Rev. Jim Bullion
June 8th: The Rev. Galen Mirate
June 15th: The Rev. Galen Mirate
June 22nd: The Rev. Galen Mirate
June 29th: The Rev. Dr. Dave Johnson – His 1st Sunday at Christ Church!

We will continue to hold Wednesday night services as normal, but the service will consist of Evening Prayer, rather than a Eucharist.

After May 18th, if someone needs clergy, they should call the church office first (229 242-5115). If after hours, they should call any member of the Vestry so that we can respond appropriately. We will have priests available to cover the interim period and we will be able to coordinate with them as needed. As we near the May 18th date, we will have more information available.

Please continue to keep our church in your prayers as we continue through our transition. We have so much excitement and positive energy among our parish, which is great to see. Please stay engaged and involved, as we need you now more than ever!

Peace!

Jeff
