Oktoberfest this year is Thursday, October 25th, with the biergarten opening at 6:00 p.m. and dinner served around 6:30 in the parish hall. On the menu: the best bratwurst this side of Munich (imported all the way from Milwaukee), potato salad and tossed salad, sauerkraut and other pickled things, rye bread, and beer and wine. Cost will be $10 per person. To honor the late Philip Gunter, one of our most devoted, cheerful, and tireless Oktoberfest crew members, we will also be accepting contributions toward the VSU scholarship fund in his name.
Please note that this is an adult gathering, so no nursery will be provided.
