The Rt. Rev. Scott Anson Benhase, Bishop of the Diocese of Georgia, will make his annual visitation to Christ Episcopal Church on Sunday, September 25, 2011. There will be a combined service of the Holy Eucharist, Baptism and Confirmation at 10:00 that morning, replacing the 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. services. The 8:00 a.m. service will be held as usual. Following the 10:00 a.m. service, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony for our new education building and a dinner on the grounds, featuring meat prepared by the Men in Blue. Drinks, paper products, and utensils will be supplied by the church. Seating will be available in the parish hall and in a large tent to be erected on the site of our new construction. Please plan to bring a covered side dish to share during the dinner on the grounds.
