SUNDAYS

8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist – Rite I

Christ Church’s first service of the week follows the traditional language of the Rite I liturgy of the Holy Eucharist in the Book of Common Prayer. There is a sermon, but no music.

10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist – Rite II  Nursery provided for children three years old and younger.

Our 10:00 am service on Sundays follows the contemporary language of Rite II liturgy of the Holy Eucharist in the Book of Common Prayer. (Note: Rite I during Lent) The service has a sermon and choral music accompanied by organ or piano. Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers.

The 10 a.m. service is livestreamed on the Christ Church’s Facebook page and also on the church’s YouTube channel. Recorded videos of those livestreams are maintained on each of those social media platforms indefinitely.

6:00 p.m. Vespers – This reflective and peaceful service follows the Compline service in the Book of Common Prayer (starting on page 127). On the first and third Sundays of the month, it is held in person inside the church sanctuary. An audio recording is posted online, and the link for that recording is emailed to everyone on the Vespers mailing list. On the other Sundays, the service is held on Zoom.  For the current Vespers schedule with the lectionary, location, and other information, click here. Please contact Phyllis Hiers to join the Vespers email list and receive the current Zoom link. All are welcome.
